Shake Bot Craft – Two ways

If using a button or switch you will want to thread that through the cup first.

This is what the circuit looks like put together without the cup so you can see everything. Once you have the circuit connected. Peel the motor and stick it to the side of the cup. You May also want to tape the wires and battery to the inside the cup.

Roll a ball of play doh and place inside a bottle cap. Hot glue a second bottle cap to the first.

make two small slits on both side of the cup and fold them out.

Stretch the rubber band and hook on to tabs. Then tape the flaps down.

Use painters tape to connect bottle caps to rubber band.

Gather Supplies. I have listed some suggestions but really anything you want can be used or just play play-doh.

Robo Cake

Creating a robot cake is the ultimate activity for kids who love robots and sweets! With a little bit of creativity and some baking skills, they can bring their very own robot cake to life, complete with all sorts of cool decorations and details. Whether they’re using frosting, candy, or edible decorations, the possibilities for robot cakes are endless – and the end result is always a delicious and impressive masterpiece! Materials

Cake Mix (Follow directions on box)

Frosting (color of your choice)

mini donuts

Suggestions for decorations – Pull and Peel Twizlers, Fruit roll ups, gummy Life savors, and gum drops.

Bake cake as directed on box.

Slice the cake into sections. I wrapped a large piece of cardboard with Foil. This way I wasn’t limited to a cookie sheet size.

Arrange robot. Frost with your kiddos favorite color. Add in the donuts for arms and legs. Then decorate with candy and other treats to look like a robot.
